Passing . .

It seems like right before my eyes that an era of my life is passing, literally. The past two days have brought news of the deaths of 3 favorite actors: Dennis Weaver, Darren McGavin and Don Knotts.

These three gentlemen may not be known for blockbuster type movies, but when I was a teenager they brought laughter into my life. Laughter is the best medicine in the world and there is so little of it these days. Today's television networks (well the big 3 anyways) offers very little in the form of light-hearted entertainment.

We will miss these gentlemen to some extent, but we can always catch them in re-runs.
